Ziehl-abegg FE fans can be used at ambient temperatures down to -40°C. In the case of use at temperatures below -10°C and max. -40°C, the condition is that the material is not exposed to extreme external influences, such as mechanical shock loads. In the case of single-phase motors with a running capacitor up to -25°C.

Fans are designed to supply air or mixtures similar to air. Use in explosive zones for supplying gas, smoke and vapors or their mixtures is not permitted. Also, supplying solids or particles of solids contained in the supplied medium is not permitted.

Ziehl-abegg FE series axial fans are designed as components for air conditioning and ventilation systems. A special design of the motor allows the speed to be regulated by reducing the voltage when working with a frequency converter.
